Life seemed useless and nothing did it yield,

You proved me wrong and were a shield,

You made me joyous light and carefree,

You said nothing as you believed in me,

You gave me your opinions right in my face,

We are like the tide,

One thing we truly share,

Are common qualities,

Our friendship is pure,

With no hint of evil,

We share the same laughter and tears,

And are hurt by the same pebble,

Thinking about you,

I want to plunge in those hazel eyes of yours,

And never come out,

That beautiful smile of yours,

Keeps flashing in my mind,

The small things you do for me,

Brings me a step closer to you,
